Hi Barbara, I have been reading a lot of William Carlos Williams lately and by day he was a practicing doctor his entire life, yet he had a special table built for his office that had a typewriter bolted to it so he could flip it down when patients visited then flip it up when he had a few minutes so he could write during the day. By day a respected doctor, but when the door was closed he was a possessed poet, pounding away on a hidden typewriter. You have to be a little bent to make magic in any art I think.
