Hi Carolyn, no, I think you are just discovering your own style. I have a client who writes fitness books and when he starts a new one he sets the outline then finishes it in ten weeks, each one being about 225 final pages. He just blocks out the time and goes all in. The key though I think, is he also writes everyday, even if it is only a minimum of thirty minutes or so. He has what I call surges, then backs off to his normal production. I like the way you are thinking here Carolyn and if works for you I wouldn't change it, just enhance it so you can capture more of the magic. Thanks for the thoughtful note. T
