Hi Daniel, Yes, weirdly this type of poem is very popular to write for new poets since it is such a simple art form to attempt, yet so difficult to master. It does have rules, and many newbies don't research how it is done, just fire off three lines and think this must be it. Read up on it and try a few, it is entertaing and a good mind tease and also forces you to interchange words as you search for the right rhythm and combination.
