Hi ER, I still teach speaker development schools, and one of the games we play is to attempt to neutralize accents over time, but we start by recording each student reading then let them and the group listen to the playback. In your case, have a spouse or friend with less of an accent read some of your stuff outloud to see how it resonates and if there is any difference. I feel your pain, when I listen to my stuff I cringe and the rewrites start, but I do think you can over come accent with proper sentence length and punctuation. Thoughtful note ER. Thank you. T
