Hi Francine, one of my first real life jobs was a newspaper reporter and then editor. Journalistic style, written for daily consumption, is quite different than academic style, such as MLA or AMA. The old school giant block paragraphs for example kill the average reader but the academics still like them. I am sticking to proper headlines capitalization but on the first word only on the subhead, with no ending punctuation. I still think that is valid and looks good, in our world. They make newspapers and magazines easy to read for a reason, which is to get more reader engagement, and that is a good goal for us I think. I just wish our folks would get the damn picture credit right. Small steps...small steps.
