Hi James, your note and poems would be the start of a beautiful chap book, remembering your grandfather and detailing your memories of him. Images of my grandparents, gone now for many decades, sometimes flash in my mind, and I agree with your observation that maybe we still carry them in gently in our minds and hearts.
