Hi Peter, On Writing Well, by William Zinsser would be my first choice if you are a nonfiction writer. If you like that one, he wrote a number of others that are all good reads. Still the best I have read through the years. Get the 25th anniversary classic, a nice addition to your book shelf. Thank you for the kind words.
