Hi Tom, great bit of writing that took me back to my own touch of morning madness. I traveled for so long I found it caused a lingering stress for months after I stopped. I had to do a complete reset to sleep without nightmares. For me, it was garbage in dreams come out, so I changed when I went to bed, what I read prior, how much water I drank and ended up using a full spectrum CBD for six months to help reset my sleep rhythms. I also wrote at least five pages in a journal each night to clear the nonsense before bed. It eventually all worked. My bad dreams chased me for over 20 years, I even bashed my head flipping out of bed one night being chased by something strange and dark in my head. Well written Tom, you captured this pain well, but I do think the outcome might be able to be changed. Keep chasing a solution my friend. T
